What is Reform R Us?
Reform R Us is a community-based organization focused on supporting individuals and families impacted by incarceration and reentry. The organization provides reentry navigation, referrals, skill-building opportunities, and community-based support services designed to promote stability, access, and community connection.
Who is eligible for services?
Services are intended for individuals impacted by incarceration, with priority given to individuals recently released from incarceration. Eligibility for specific services may vary based on program guidelines, funding requirements, and organizational capacity.
Does submission of an intake form guarantee services?
No. Submission of an intake form does not guarantee services. Intake forms are used to assess needs and determine whether services or referrals may be available based on eligibility, capacity, and funding constraints. Reform R Us aims to respond within three (3) business days of intake submission.
What services does Reform R Us provide?
Services may include, but are not limited to:
- Reentry navigation and case management support
- Documentation and access assistance
- Workforce and financial readiness support
- Wellness, skill-building, and community-based group programming
- Referrals to external service providers and partner organizations
Service offerings are subject to change based on funding, partnerships, and capacity.
Does Reform R Us provide housing or employment placement?
Reform R Us does not directly provide housing or guarantee employment placement. Support may include guidance, preparation, advocacy, and referrals to external service providers when available.
Does Reform R Us provide clinical or therapeutic services?
No. Reform R Us does not provide clinical mental health treatment or licensed therapy services. Wellness and group-based programming is non-clinical. Referrals to licensed providers may be made when appropriate and available.
Are services provided at no cost?
Many services are offered at no cost to participants. Some external referrals or partner-provided services may have associated costs determined by those providers.
Does Reform R Us serve individuals currently incarcerated?
Reform R Us primarily focuses on post-release reentry support. Limited pre-release guidance or referrals may be offered on a case-by-case basis, subject to program capacity.
Can family members or advocates submit an intake on behalf of an individual?
Yes. Family members, advocates, or support persons may submit an intake form on behalf of an individual returning to the community.
How is client information handled?
Client information is treated as confidential and used solely for service coordination, reporting, and referral purposes. Information is shared with partner organizations only with appropriate consent or as required by funding or legal obligations.
How can individuals or organizations support Reform R Us?
Support may include donations, volunteer engagement (as available), event participation, or partnership opportunities. All engagement is subject to organizational needs and capacity.
What geographic areas does Reform R Us serve?
Reform R Us primarily serves individuals in Maryland. Service delivery may occur in person, virtually, or through referrals, depending on program structure and resources.
What does “services provided as resources are available” mean?
